Rush FD apparatus — the 58-series fleet

The fleet

Pumpers, a heavy rescue, boats, a brush truck, a tracked UTV, and one of the very few fire-department-run ambulances left in Monroe County — specced, maintained, and driven entirely by volunteers.

2012 Ford / Marque · Type III

Most departments handed EMS off to an outside agency years ago. Rush is one of the very few in Monroe County that never did. 589 is BLS-equipped and crewed by volunteer EMTs from this station — when you call for help in Rush, the people who show up are your neighbors.
