The call type is generic by design: you will see “EMS” or “Alarm Activation,” not anything more specific. Calls outside the Town of Rush are mutual-aid responses to our neighbors. We believe the public has a legitimate interest in knowing that the department is active and what kinds of calls it responds to — and equally that the families we serve deserve their privacy on the worst days of their lives.
